Our goal is to make it easier for everyday people to meet potential project partners, form groups, exchange knowledge and explore development opportunities together that they may not have been able to pursue alone.

A person may have an interest in property development but not have the financial capacity, experience or confidence to undertake a complete project independently. By meeting other like-minded people, users can explore the possibility of working together and combining their strengths.

The platform does not make decisions for users or arrange investments on their behalf. It provides the networking tools that allow people to meet, communicate, create groups and decide for themselves whether they want to explore a project together.

Not every user will begin with the same level of experience. Some people may be exploring their first development, while others may have experience with building, finance, planning, property, construction or previous projects.

By connecting people with different levels of knowledge and experience, the platform gives users the opportunity to learn from one another, ask questions, exchange ideas and build valuable business relationships.

An important feature of Develop Jointly is the ability for eligible groups to request an introduction to a builder through the app.

We aim to work with established, reputable builders that have the capability to undertake a wide range of residential construction projects, including houses, townhouses, units and larger premium homes.

Larger builders can benefit from scale, established supplier relationships, purchasing volume and repeat construction processes. Depending on the project, these advantages may help them offer competitive pricing while maintaining established construction systems and quality standards.

Users remain completely free to choose their own builder. A referral through Develop Jointly is optional and does not require a group to proceed with the builder introduced through the app.

Develop Jointly is free for users to join and use for its core networking purpose.

If a user chooses to generate a builder referral through the app, and the group later decides to engage that builder for its project, Develop Jointly may receive a referral fee from the builder.

The referral fee is paid by the builder only when the relevant building job has been completed. The amount can vary depending on the builder, project type, size, scope and other commercial factors.

Receiving a referral fee does not change the fact that users are responsible for deciding whether a builder is suitable for their project and should carry out their own checks before entering into any building contract.

Our ambition from the beginning has been international. Property development is not limited to one city or one country, and neither should the opportunity to meet suitable project partners be.

Develop Jointly is currently focused on Australia and the United States, with plans to expand into additional markets, including parts of Europe and Canada, as the platform grows.
